What Type of files do you need?
You would need either unmixed mono and or stereo multi-tracks files or unmixed stems of your session files in .wav format, or a protools session file folder containing the session information files and audio files folder.
How do I upload my files?
Files can be uploaded after purchase has been made and files can be uploaded via link.
What is the turn around time?
The average turn around time for mixing and mastering is 5-10 business days.
How do I get the files back?
Once we receive your session files, we will email you a file folder containing all your deliverables of the mixed and or mastered material.
What are the payment options?
We have multiple payment options available for you to utilize, to include All Major Credit Cards, Paypal, Apple Pay, Affirm/Klarna (Mix Now Pay Later) Google Pay.
Do I pay a deposit or Do I pay the full amount upfront?
All services require a full payment upfront
Is there a cost for additional revisions?
Yes, although some our mix and mastering packages do come with a revision, you do have the option to purchase additional revisions.
Do you offer same day or next day services?
Yes, we do understand that sometimes you need your projects quickly and in a hurry and that’s why we offer priority mixing and mastering services, these priority services will guarantee you a 24-48hr turnaround of your record. Additional Charges will apply. *Note this service is only available to 1 song, multiple songs and or projects are not applicable for this option at this time.
How do I go about getting the same or next-day mix service?
At Zipmixes we are all about ease of use and an in-and-out purchase process. To get the same-day delivery option click on the buy now button on the mix package you desire and click the next-day mix option from the drop-down menu and it will be automatically added to your invoice and pay and upload your files and we will handle the rest.
How many songs can I submit at one time to be mixed or mastered?
You can submit as many songs as you want to be mixed however, each song will be billed individually please email us at contact@zipmixes.com to inquire about bundle deals for mixing albums, projects, ep’s, etc to take advantage of package specials for mixing or mastering entire projects.
Do I need to worry about my music being leaked?
ABSOLUTEY NOT, we at Zip Mixes value and respect your privacy as an artist and musician. We will never release or distribute your music. We will only showcase your music that we mix or master on our website and social media pages.
What are Revisions and why do I need them?
Think of Revisions as an insurance policy but without any hidden fees or unexpected additional cost. Revisions allow you a piece of mind and security while having us mix your record. We recommend purchasing a revision for any and all packages because although at ZipMixes we pride ourselves on getting your mix right we understand that certain creative decisions and or choices arise during the creative process. That is why we recommend purchasing a revision as an additional safety net or insurance policy so that if any creative decisions or choices arise they are already covered. A Revision is just that it is a revision it is not a full mix and or master. If you require a full mix and or master for the same record you need to purchase another mix. Revisions include changes in levels "volume", creative and dynamic effects such as reverbs, compressors, limiters, equalizers, delays, etc, and or editing changes.
